Graeme Hobbs FCCA – Senior Partner and Audit Partner

Graeme has been a qualified, practising chartered certified accountant for over twenty-five years. Initially working in the early part of his career as a manager for a Top 20 practice based in Basingstoke, Hampshire, latterly Graeme became a partner/director of a mid-tier firm of accountants based in Reading. He helped to grow this business into a thriving firm with six regional offices, before leaving to form his own practice, subsequently known as Hobbs Granger Roitt.

Graeme had a clear vision of creating a professional practice that would not only keep personal and business clients on track in terms of complying with statutory requirements, but would also give them every support to survive and thrive in tough times.

Graeme’s goal in becoming an accountant has always been to use his skills to help others and to build successful businesses. This remains his goal to this day.

Denise Hobbs – Business Development Partner

Denise brings comprehensive business experience to the practice, having worked in family concerns, medium-sized firms and large corporate environments. Her in-depth knowledge of customer service, procurement, planning and budget management and her skills in interacting with people, in the UK and overseas, help to ensure that we achieve successful outcomes for our clients.

Denise’s roots go back to the small family business where she worked before moving on to gain qualifications in business and management. Her early experience has given her an unshakeable belief in the value of understanding what your clients and customers need and putting your internal systems and processes under the microscope to deliver it.

Stephanie Brass – Audit and Accounts Manager

Stephanie is a qualified chartered accountant and chartered tax advisor. She began her career in Barnstaple, where she qualified as one of the first female accountants in North Devon.

Since qualifying, Stephanie has worked for accountancy practices in the Bristol and Berkshire area, joining Hobbs Granger Roitt in 2010. She now has over thirty years’ experience of working with clients, assisting them in all aspects of accountancy and taxation.

Jane Cowan - Tax Senior

Jane joined the firm in 2010 and she is responsible for co-ordinating all aspects of the personal tax

work for our clients and for the completion of their self-assessment tax returns. She brings a great

deal of experience to the team and enjoys working closely with clients, believing in the value of

building long term relationships to benefit both the individual and the firm.
