Business Education
Graeme Hobbs, writes about and, delivers seminars on the key relationship of accountant and client. The campaign started as a result of research undertaken into why so many businesses and taxpayers are reporting that they lack proactive advice and merely receive compliance services (accounts and tax returns) which all too often are not even explained. The objective of the programme is to help clients and their accountants ask more and better questions about their needs and understand whether their advisers have the skills and objectives to match those needs. The seminars have been well received.
Graeme also lectures on record keeping, Making Tax Digital (MTD), and provides various accounting updates. Business cash flow planning and how to write a business plan are also part of the speaking and workshop repertoire.
Educating and updating business people and taxpayers on ‘hot topics’ is something we believe in because we see the challenges faced and want to do our bit towards building a better shared understanding of how to gain control over our futures.

Public Speaking
Everyone at some point needs or wants to speak in public or simply to get their point across. Whether this is speaking at a family occasion, pitching the business or debating for any reason at all, we believe Toastmasters provides the practice in a friendly environment that people can use to develop confidence building skills which can really make a difference to themselves and others.
Hobbs Granger Roitt encourage others to participate in Toastmasters Wokingham. Graeme was the 2018/19 President .
